World Heritage Kyoto DAIGOJI Temple Seiryugu Honden
The Seiryugu Honden was first built in Kami-Daigo, and then moved to Shimo-Daigo in 1097. It was burnt down during the Onin War and rebuilt in 1599. It is now designated as an important cultural property. Various events for the “Seiryu-Gongen-Sakura-e” are held annually between April 1 and 21.
